Guys… Daybreak might have a hidden meaning? I’m kind of shook and idk if I’m overthinking
Okay I’ll just say it.
The theory is about how Minhyun falls in love with Minkyung (from Pristin). He’s an artist and she’s his muse. He also lives with Jonghyun.
Evidence: The drawing + paint shots (also the fact that it’s in Canvas). Jonghyun and Minhyun are also in the same room several times.
Jonghyun (get this) is in love with Minhyun.
Evidence: admittedly I’m new at this sleuthing thing so I’m just gonna go for it. Minhyun and Minkyung share a lot of shots together, and so do Minhyun and Jonghyun. You know who doesn’t? Minkyung and Jonghyun, other than that first shot. It’s obvious from the way Minhyun and Minkyung stand that they’re kind of romantic, and the shots between Minhyun and Jonghyun have this weird tension? They have a lot of eye contact, frowning, like they fought or something. Of course, it could be that Jonghyun liked Minkyung and was jealous of Minhyun (explaining the first scene) but let’s go to the next point first.
Minhyun feels something for Jonghyun too.
Evidence: Look at the shots with solo Minkyung and solo Jonghyun. They mirror a lot. Istg this was what hit me. They share lighting, they share location, and they keep mirroring. Hell, they both have close up solo shots that look directly at the camera (or Minhyun?)
I talked about the mirror shots above, and idk, it sure does look like someone looking at the mirror to see the other pass. And the two who are near mirrors are always, always Minhyun and Jonghyun.
EDIT: Additionally, I mentioned Minhyun's muse to be Minkyung. You see her posing, carrying props (like the flowers) but Minhyun hesitates. He hesitates drawing Minkyung. Why? We don't know. But guess who is also carrying flowers?
Tldr; I might be delusional, or I just made a breakthrough
