sleepy chimera
miniboss rush
even the strongest defenses (living in a tower in the middle of the jungle) will not stop halflings from breaking and entering for no reason
it's talk some more about the chimera kabbu sub-au time i guess? idk the basic idea we came up with to explain the design is that he dies somehow during the beast fight and in a gruesome enough way that he can't be revived with the normal spell/whatever the equivalent of magic seeds are (plus he's usually the reviver of the team anyway) so they have to use the Advanced Revival on him with the beast dragon meat to replace all the missing parts of him
and after being resurrected kabbu seems pretty normal if badly shaken at first until the team is part of the way through the wasp kingdom and hoaxe is alerted that they're there and immediately can tell that Something Is Up. so after resting at jayde's room for the first time vi and leif wake up and kabbu is Missing. they get through the rest of the hive looking for him but they don't find out where he is until they actually get back to the ant kingdom
because he is there, now a dragon chimera, attacking the ant palace. the explorer teams there try to fight him but fail and so hoaxe gets away and he has the artifacts And a dragon on his side now. all the stuff after that is less clear in our mind because we have to work out how team snakemouth is doing while down a pretty vital member and when exactly they get kabbu back so. idk how to end this post. they're having an interesting time however it goes
hands you a chimera kabbu. for no reason in particular we just wanted to draw him like this
imagine the feathers are colored like a kākāpō. a very kabbu-type bird (flightless, green, fat, cute)
@mantisgodsdomain we mammalified your weevil sorry. our hand just started moving on its own nothing we could do to stop it. the boarcupine (boar porcupine)
so international lesbian and octopus day are both today huh
