every time i leave home for a significant amount of time i forget how horrible spider crickets are with their awful legs and antennae and how huge they are and how high they can jump and then i come home and find one inside my house at two in the morning while i’m here alone and i’m reminded of my hubris
had a dream that my bathroom was infested with roachflies and if dream me had to see it, so does everybody else
property management found someone to take over the lease on our current place at the end of august but my excitement about this life-changing development is outweighed by the horror of the fact that i JUST FOUND A LIVE FUCKING SILVERFISH IN MY PAJAMA DRAWER WHILE PACKING

hey uh what’s. what’s a spider cricket and why does it sound like it came directly from hell
i super don’t recommend googling spider crickets bc they definitely came directly from hell but like. picture something that looks kind of like a cricket up close, mostly like a spider from far away, isn’t technically either of those things, is enormous, and jumps multiple feet in the air as a self defense. i’m pretty sure they’re not actually dangerous but i grew up with them infesting my basement on a yearly basis and let me tell you they terrify me
