#BuickPartner #YearInReview Can you believe that this is the end of the year, the end of the decade?! Buick has been here for all of my best moments! I've had so many resolutions, and this year I was able to complete many of my goals. I've surpassed my goal of reading 50 books a year thanks to audiobooks and my awesome Buick sound system. I bought a new car (this time with peanut butter insides!) I spent more time with family, taking road trips and seeing more of the East Coast. My health has soared! I've lost weight, became more active and truly began living my best life. So cheers to the next decade, I'm ready for you! I wonder if I could convince hubby to get me the #BuickEncore in the new year for all of our new road trip adventures....I'll just price it out for him. #BuickPartner * * * Autumn is finally here and the harvest is bountiful! This is my favorite season for farmer’s market family fun. It’s the best time of the year to eat seasonal vegetables and fruit. Squash, pumpkin, apple cider and end of season corn are my favorites. Sunflowers bloom late here, so I can still grab some fresh ones for my kitchen. After a day of shopping, (and having #bae load the trunk) it’s time time to cook dinner and put all of this to use. #BuickPartner Summers are all about sunshine, cool breezes, vacations and family fun! I love to find new places to picnic with the family, but unfortunately, I am a terrible packer! I bring everything with me...lol... who wants to be stuck somewhere without essentials? OK, so maybe a tent is not a “necessity”, but I don’t care! I’m bringing it. The @BuickUSA #BuickLacrosse has plenty of room for everything I want to bring --- Much to the dismay of Dear Husband! But once we’re out there, it’s all fun and he is thankful for the quality family time. Here are some fun things we do for picnic time: • Audiobooks! We love to listen to audiobooks together. What’s more whimsical than a fantasy book being read to you while laying on grass?! • Board games – aside from audiobooks and the camera, we try to unplug for a while to connect. Although, it’s difficult to pull the tablet away from the little one. #BuickPartner This week has been hectic! Morning routines are incredibly important for me since Dear Husband and I carpool. My @BuickUSA fits my lifestyle perfectly! The car seat fits in the backseat while still leaving room for all of the briefcases, books and workout gear for after work. PLUS, the console has a three-prong socket plug in the back to keep Baby Mac entertained with his charged tablet. We CANNOT have the tablet die!Here are my morning routine tips: • Use the evenings for prep! Nights can be rough, but mornings can be rougher. Make lunches, iron clothes and confirm schedules before hitting the bed • Listen to encouraging music, podcasts or books on your way into the office. Positive stimulation gets my day going. The entertainment system within the Lacrosse is amazing and seamlessly integrates with many of my book and podcast apps. This is how I can finish 52 books in a year! • Consume breakfast! It’s the fuel for day!
