ASWN June 2023: Build-a-Creature

We’ve all heard about werewolves and werebears, but what about the mysterious werehorse? How about a vampire that doesn’t crave blood, but instead another fluid, like milk? Or maybe the strange creature plaguing your dreams has yet to be truly talked about and defined?

Whatever the case, we want you to tell us all about it for June’s theme Build-a-Creature!

It’s time to take the empty shape of something, stuff it with your lore and add a little heart before sharing it with the world much like a certain shop where you construct a bear. Your monster can be something completely new, a variation of an old favorite, or even a mish-mash of different creatures. Afterall, kelpies are pretty cool, but what if they had wings? The sky’s the limit! Be prepared to share the wildest monsters living in you imagination.

Posting of your Build-a-Creature creation begins  Saturday, June 24th and goes to the end of the month. In the meantime, we eagerly await to see what you dream up! Tag us @allthatslithers so we can share your works on this Tumblr!
