The Perfect Moment.

This blog is mostly going to contain my ire and experiences as I carefully submerge myself into a whole new life. I assume much of this will be foot notes of humor or frustration. I expect the beginning will be turbulent and adjustments will be made to become functional within this new society, and way of life. 

In my remaining time on my quaint homeland I have been doing a lot of remembering. Just such a moment occurred just a few minutes before writing this.

So let me paint the picture.  

Sitting out side in the warm sun, a cool sea breeze keeping the temperature perfect. In view of the back yard I grew up playing in, and the garage I spent hours upon hours working and relaxing in. I can smell the ocean, and the familiar plants around the house and backyard. 

I was lost in deep thought after that, first came the predictable nostalgia but then there was a change. I began to ask questions: Will I be able to make memories like this with my kids? Will I create a relaxing setting like this? Will I have my own workshop to create and improve my home in? Will my future house even be a proper home?  I couldn’t help buy smile and even privately acknowledged how responsible and adult like I was thinking. I realized then I am getting caught in in the future now because I am more than ready to take on the task of trying to achieve these things for my family. The work and sweat ahead are things to look forward to, and the results of my labors will be creating a new life which can seed such deep nostalgia and memory.
