Closet Chronicles, Vol. 3: I got the two top closet shelves installed in both big closets today, and THEY’RE LEVEL! I propped them up using 2x4s cut to the height I wanted and then I screwed in one side making sure all was level, and then I moved to the other side and made sure it was level! WOOHOO!! . All because my sweet husband put a second coat of paint on them this week, I also got the center unit moved in, built, and raised into place 💪🏻💪🏻, and my vision is totally coming to life. I’m so excited!! It was very heavy, but I was very determined - and as of now- my back is doing great 😂😂 . My final closet work of the day consisted of cutting and installing the center and top of our drawer unit. All cut to size in the garage, pocket holes drilled in the garage, and then placed and screwed in. Our house isn’t square, so you can see some light shining thought between the back and sides of the unit... but I do believe the center of the drawer unit is slightly warped in the middle, and I *think* I have an idea to remedy that, but the shelf is level!!! Woohoo!! . I love progress ❤️😍🙌🏻 #closetchronicles #diy #lakehouse #masterbedroom #builtinclosets #custombuilt #imadethat #thisiswhatilove #anyonehiring #embracethemess #alifeatthelanding https://www.instagram.com/p/B4YN8XaDivn/?igshid=jq20fvp2ha5w
