of course! yus is constantly criticized for acting out against others, especially by keiko and his teachers. kuw.abara even judges him for how harsh he can be to others at times. though after the spirit detective and dark tournament, his friends are a bit more understanding, though they’d prefer he think things through before just punching someone in the face
pretty much just his mom. “if someone hits you, hit em back twice as hard. don’t let anyone get away with that shit”. it’s implied in the manga that she used to fight herself, so it’s reasonable to assume she’s got a “take no shit” attitude, especially since she cheers yus on passionately during his fights
he’ll only justify if it needs to be. 9/10 the situation is self explanatory. he won’t throw a punch unless there’s a good reason, ie, someone hit him first, someone’s testing his patience (which he lacks), threatened his friends, etc. if someone walked in, he’ll explain bluntly. he doesn’t lie when it comes to a fight. it’s not his style
