There had been a lot of instability in Chloe's life as of late. People came and went, fluttering through her life in unpredictable waves. Maggie remained one of the few people who was a stable influence, and Chloe cherished her friend more and more every day. It was apparently rare, to find people who stayed, who seemed to need you in their lives as much as you needed them.

She greeted the girl with a smile that quickly turned into a gasp. "Ooo your hair!" she exclaimed, reaching out to touch a tendril of the vibrant color. "I absolutely love it." Maggie's tendency to hop scotch through hair colors was one of the things Chloe loved most about the woman. She was a vibrant personality, and her hair reflected a fearless ability to be herself without shame. And the blonde, she felt as if she was always apologizing all the time.

Stepping aside to urge her friend in, she pointed to the bowl of freshly made popcorn and the various dvd's on the table. "I wasn't sure what you might be in the mood for."
