Baseball Practice | Nidai & Leon
Leon walked slowly towards the baseball field. He did not want to practice. He didn't care if he was practicing with the Super High School Level Coach; he didn't want to practice. He didn't need to practice. He'd never practiced. He didn't even know how he got into this situation; he hadn't talked to Nidai much before. How'd he get a training session with him? Nidai was in the year above him too, so they didn't have much reason to talk in the first place.
He kicked at the grass as he got closer, waiting for the moment when the grass turned to dust. Soon enough he was kicking up dirt and dust, coating the ankles of his pants a dull greyish-brown. He leaned disinterestedly against the fence and closed his eyes, half-hoping he'd wake up somewhere else.
