that's the only question I'd ask God. but since I am human, I either invent his answer or follow others who have invented his response.
Religiously he'd probably say: Have you Prayed enough? Have you gone to church? You haven't given 10% out of your income to help your fellow church, I'll have a place for you in heaven, after all your unreasonable suffering i made you go through, God sees it all, God judges you.
Spiritually he might say: Everything has no reason to happen, it just happens whether you like it or not, whether your physical or mentally-thought heart is broken or not, Nature and I are one, Nature and you are one, you will only realize this when you become one and know in your soul that we're just moving to the beat of the beat.
Mathematically he might say: There is a variable that's always there, zero, its nothing, it means nothing but its the start, and whatever is created after zero will go on infinitely.. even though you can subtract variables for a less value, its still a value and whatever is added afterwards to that value equals a different outcome away from zero but even when the outcome is unknown because your missing one of the variables, you leave it all to zero.
Scientifically he'd say: I left it all to the laws of physics.
