Steve is telling Bee that all the fireworks around the city are for his birthday. And our sweet Bee believes every thing he's saying because why wouldn't everyone celebrate her godfather

Now Bucky has to arrange for fireworks on her birthday. He has no choice. (Mal tried to tell him that no one is making him do that and he just laughed and gestured towards a wide eyed, happy Bee gazing up at the colors blooming across the night sky)

I saw a fancy car on the freeway yesterday with a license plate that said "BUCKYZ" and it gave me a little chuckle thinking about our girl driving around in it 😂😂

He makes it a point to ensure every one of her cars have a custom plate. All variations of MRSBRNS or BUCKYS etc. The DMV has them ready to go. As soon as he buys her a new car, the plates are at the dealership and on her car before it leaves the lot.

Bucky loves the fact that she has his last name and he wants everyone to know she's his wife.

And those plates are the reason she's never been pulled over.

Bee says it as a joke but Bucky instantly agrees with her. His sweet Bee does deserve a gift for Fathers day because he wouldn't be able to celebrate it without her. And now that he's thinking about it, he's going to get his pretty wife something too.

Bucky 🤝 any excuse to spoil his girls.

Are our favorite NYC Mob Family happy the Knicks won ?

They were ecstatic. Especially Bucky. Not only is he a life long fan but also because he made a lot of money off the games. A lot of money. His bookies and casinos worked overtime during the finals.

According to Bee, Mr. Tato also made a lot of monies. His people had lots of bets going. (And now she's banned from attending any of Bucky's meetings. Bucky's working on changing your mind about that.)

Bee had fun going to her first NBA game. Naturally Bucky got them courtside seats when the Knicks played in NYC. She loved it for all ten minutes and then spent the rest of the time people watching and sharing snacks with her mama. Bee is still talking about the halftime shows.

They watched the away games in the penthouse. The guys are superstitious. Looking for anything that might influence the game. Paying attention to the little things they normally wouldn't. That's how they discovered that anytime Bucky would pick Bee up, Jalen would make a shot. It got to the point where Steve insisted that Bucky hold Bee the entire time.

The one time Bee went to bed early, they lost. So she was allowed to stay up the rest of the games. Towards the end, she would get sleepy but would wake up and get excited whenever the guys cheered. It was really to cute to watch her suddenly awaken when the guys got a little too loud, give her papa a drowsy smile and then clap before dropping her head back on his shoulder.

Bee is going to be a lifelong Knicks fan just like her papa.

All Bee has to do is mention something once and Bucky is on it.

She says she's cold, he has a jacket ready for her.

Her little legs get tired from walking, all she has to do ia put her arms and he's bending down to pick her up.

Its the summer and she's getting hot—Bee didn't even say anything, just let out an unhappy sigh and that was all Bucky needed to hear, he has an ice cream cone on the way, one of the guys is pulling out a portable fan, Bucky's taking off his suit jacket to hold over her so he can block the sun.

Mal watching all of this unfold over a sigh, knowing that she picked the perfect man to have babies with

He was vague. Said that he owned a few business, some international, some local. It wasn't a lie per se, but he definitely undersold the scope of his empire.

Bucky knew he was only going to be able to keep his true identity under wraps for so long. So he used that time to make sure she fell for him and fell as hard as he already had.

He was betting (hoping really) that she wouldn't be intimidated by the fact that he is pakhan of the bratva and just focus on him. And the fact that he loves every single part of her.

From the moment they met, Bucky knew he was going to introduce her to his world because he had the feeling she was about to change everything.

Bucky had to bribe Bee to keep their mothers day plans a secret.

It cost him more than his last shipping deal. Bee knows her worth and charged him accordingly 😌

She, also, immediately told you that she was being bribed to keep secrets (their deal didn't cover the actual bribe).

So you bribed her to break her initial deal and tell you everything. Unfortunately Bucky knows his girls better than anyone and caught Bee before she reveal anything good.

The two of you were a little dramatic about him separating you until it was time for the start of his mothers day event. All of four hours.

"Goodbye my pretty Bumblebee," you faked a sob, reaching out a hand to Bee as Bucky pulled her away.

"Bye my pwetty Mommy. I gonna miss you," she replied so mournfully that Bucky had to do a double take to ensure she was still playing. She was. And she was doing a good job keeping up with your antics. She slumped over in Bucky's arms, chubby cheeks puffed out from her smile.

Bucky's glare pinged between the two of you. "But she gets her dramatic streak from my side of the family?"

"She does," you grinned, blowing him a kiss. You heard him grumble about not letting stubborn Barnes women ruin his plans as he strolled away with your giggling toddler.

No one, not even you, is going to spoil the suprises he has planned for you.

You know how babies still think they're an extension of their mom, still connected, tethered together?

Bee is like that with her mama. That's why everything she likes is "our favorites". Because in her mind of course her mama loves elmo and ballet as much as she does.

Whatever she doesn’t like, she assumes her mama doesn't either. Her mama is pretty so she must be pretty too. Bee can dance, naturally her mama can too. Her mama is a great painter so Bee is too. They do just about everything together and Bee loves that.

She falls and scrapes her knee, her mama will make her feel better. She goes to her mama first.

She was just told a big secret, well of course she has to immediately tell her mama.

Her mama was her first friend. Her best friend.

As she gets older, she'll learn that they can and will have different interests. She's going to grow into her own independent person. Her mama is still going to be the first person she calls when she needs someone to vent to, celebrate good news or just gossip with. She is one of her best friends after all.
