SoH AU Team RWBY
The team that started it all, grown up and still fighting to make the world a better place. While we're sure these lovely ladies need no introduction a lot has changed over the last 18 years since Beacon fell.
Ruby: Openly recognized as one of if not the greatest Huntress in generations, it surprised many in the Huntsmen community to learn that Ruby would pursue a career in teaching seeing as she could have continued as a Huntress for many more years and could have retired into any role she desired. In truth, while she adores her students and puts her all into making sure they're ready for the realities of being a huntsman, her role as Professor and assistant headmistress come secondary to her position as a member of Ozpin’s inner circle. Offering a fresh perspective, both as its youngest member and as someone who suffered from their feelings before making her not just a valuable member because of her unmatched skill but also her unique insight.
Weiss: Ever since her parents divorced after a political scandal turned outright affair Weiss has put her life as a Huntress on the back burner instead choosing to work with Whitley with rebuilding the SDC after her father ran its reputation into the ground. This along with settling down with Jaune shortly after the birth of their first daughter causes her to be the least active of her old team in a combative sense, choosing instead to reform her family's legacy and give her children the loving upbringing she could only dream of as a child. But don't let the way she dotes on her children to see you, she is still an incredibly capable huntress rivaled by few even in her personal circle.
Blake: The current chieftain of menagerie Blake much like Weiss has put active combat on the back burner in order to attempt to make change where she believes it would be more effective. Working more on the global scale with the SDC in order to expand Menagerie’s territories, hoping to bring it and the Faunus to the global stage in a way that's impossible to ignore while undoing as much of the damage she and Adam caused. While initially working closely with the more moderate factions of the White fang recent rumors of a growing radical faction has her worried. When not being kept busy by her duties as a politician Blake spends her free time with her wife Yang and their three children as well as their uncle Sun whenever he has time to stop by.
Yang: While the rest of her team sought to rebuild their family honor, make big sweeping changes through politics or preparing future generations of Huntsmen Yang has chosen the more straightforward and traditional yet no less important path as a Huntress, becoming a supermom in her own right, kicking Grimm ass by day and reading her little monkeys bedtime stories by night. While technically the only “active” Huntress from team RWBY in a traditional sense she tries to rope the others into her missions to catch up or in Weiss’s case for her own good whenever possible. She has sense moved to menagerie with Blake to raise their children has been an adjustment she hasn't once regretted it.
