Castiel had been blind for as long as he could remember. He struggles with the difficulties of his drama-induced and dangerous family, until he is finally move out on his own, and leave them. Dreams of freedom are a lot more difficult to achieve when you are blind, and trapped. Castiel escapes his stern uncle and manipulative aunt, and seeks out the only person he knows he can trust, his brother Gabriel. Luckily, he finds him quickly and on accident. They live together and Castiel is greeted by new people quickly, and one man in particular is catching his attention.
