for someone with such huge ego as him, he can get upset pretty quickly. i can totally imagine him getting angry at his writing block, his code not working properly-

in these cases, he will come to you and ‘innocently’ and ‘unsurprisingly’ ask for a hug. as you agree and put him closer, he snuggles incredibly tightly against you, holding you even tighter to his chest, like he’s scared to let go.

if you try to ask him what’s wrong, and if he’s doing alright, he will be quiet for a bit, before breaking down in your arms.

as much as he hates it, he’s a loud crier. he just lets it all out when he cries, ugly sobs. he will even have trouble breathing sometimes

you will usually just hold him close, petting his head as he sobs his life out

so sometimes you will have to do some breathing exercises, just whispering to him to take deep and slow breaths.

some words of comfort will be also needed. just softly whispering into his ear as you hold him close.

sometimes, when he will be very overstimulated with his emotions, he will not let you to touch him. in those cases, you will have to just sit down with him, and talk about your day. or just keeping him a company.

let’s be honest here folks, we all fell asleep to his voice at some point-

he would be flattered at the fact that his voice actually has calming effect on people.

and since that bastard doesn’t ever shut up, he’s more than happy to provide anything that you need for the night

he would often read out his new scripts out loud for you. just taking this whole thing as a practice

reading out poetry or novels for you is also one of his favorite things. not only he can revisit some of his favorite stories, gain inspiration. he would also ramble about the deeper meanings of the work itself. about the stuff he researched for it to understand it better, his personal theories. sometimes he would even comment the cover art or illustrations

my personal headcanon for him is that he plays guitar. so i can totally imagine him softly singing into the microphone as a gentle melody plays in the background

if you ask him for something personal, he would have his annoyed comments but after a moment he would deliver the best praise and compliments you have ever heard. he would often talk about the things he likes about your personality, appearance and overall how much he cherishes you. you mean a lot to him, and he’s the type of person who will tell you all about it. damn it, he could talk about you all day long and he would still have things to say.

I think “normals” narrators love language would be gift giving and quality time. If we talking about lovebug!narrator, you bet it’s a physical contact. Obviously if you are ok with it. If you are not, he will respect it. The last thing he wants is to hurt his dearest.

I think he’s pretty gentle and understanding lover. Your boundaries and comfort is on his top priority. That’s true for both the “normal” narrator and the lovebug narrator.

However, I think lovebug would be a bit more touchy with you. He’s one touch starved motherfucker ok? He will always find his way to hold you. He especially likes holding you as he works or writes. you guys will start slow. just letting short tales or simple jokes. as you progress, the work gets longer and more complex. again, he’s very supportive and will give you honest criticism.

if you have the problems with stuttering, he will make some research on how to work with that.
