Burger Republic

As you know Jason and myself are suckers for a good burger and burger joints seem to be popping up left right and centre. After downloading the zomato app we found a little gem and decided to check it out when we were in boksburg buying franks hot sauce (another gem). it had a really cool vibe and neat setup. they were really punting their craft beers too but when you look at it from the point of 1 beer = 1 burger its crazy. I chose the republic burger which was bacon cheese and cranberry sauce. jason ordered the tria which was 3 mini burgers and vovo had the chilli chilli bang bang. you also get a choice of greens and starch (sweet potato fries, onion rings or chip stix). my burger came and it looked a-m-a-z-i-n-g but i was so miff when i tasted it. i dont know what i thought i would get ordereing cranberry sauce but i was picturing more of a sweet cranberry jelly - that it was not. the sauce was sour (like a cranberry) and so overpowering it was just like a gross sour jam :( i was so bummed and pissed - you know how i get. i managed to scrape most of it off and just leave the top roll off and was ok. the burger itself was really succulent and tasty and the roll so soft it was yum - i just ordered the wrong thing unfortunately.
