You'll never taste a better veggie burger! There are lots of healthy ingredients in it, and it tastes great. Whether you're a vegetarian or just want a tasty meal without meat, this burger will not let you down.
Ingredients: 1 cup cooked quinoa. 1 can 15 oz black beans, drained and rinsed. 1/2 cup breadcrumbs. 1/2 cup grated carrot. 1/4 cup finely chopped onion. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro. 1 teaspoon ground cumin. 1/2 teaspoon paprika. Salt and pepper to taste. 1/4 cup BBQ sauce. 4 burger buns. Lettuce, tomato, and your favorite toppings for serving.
Instructions: To make the black bean dip, put the breadcrumbs, grated carrot, chopped onion, minced garlic, cilantro, ground cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper in a food processor. Pulse until everything is well mixed but still has some chunks. Put the mix in a bowl and add the cooked quinoa. Stir the ingredients together until they are well blended. Split the mixture in half and shape each half into a burger patty. Warm up a grill or griddle on the stove over medium-high heat. On both sides, brush the patties with BBQ sauce. Put the patties on the griddle or grill and cook them for four to five minutes on each side, or until they are hot all the way through and have nice grill marks. Put the burger buns on the grill and toast them for one minute, or until they get a little brown. Put a lettuce leaf and a tomato slice on the bottom bun of your veggie burger, then add the grilled veggie patty on top of them. You can add any other toppings you want, like avocado slices, cheese, or pickles. Put the other half of the bun on top. Have fun with your best veggie burger while it's still hot.
