it feels wrong to be so close to another human being & know nothing of their true ascension . the lack of warmth , it never worried him . not until know . until he was aware of why the other was devoid of it . knowing , once & for all that ellery was inhuman . dean had never felt so disturbed .

                        johnny smiles at elle, amusement fighting for dominance on his face. his eyes twinkle despite elle’s apparent indignation. he’s pretty adorable when he gets worked up. he’s tempted to draw out the secret for a little while longer. instead, he pats the cushion next to where he's settled on the sofa, an invitation for his companion to join him. to relax. johnny takes control of his entertainment system. tv --on. ps4 --on. nimble fingers have the netflix application open in no time. “this is netflix,” he takes a moment to scroll through the recently added section, “we choose something to watch,” he bites his bottom lip while making his selection, “and we then ignore it while we hook up.”
