When I first joined flight rising, I very bizarrely decided to name both of my progens after wof characters, fathom and burn.

Now, you can say fathom can be a scholarly arcane name, but burn? very weird. I finally came up with a lore explanation and its so good.

hey this isn't a music ask but can I ask how you started spinning fire??? :o and how you learned?

so my Go club meets @ a college that has a fire troupe, and i saw them doing shows a couple times and got really interested

but i didn’t really get a chance to DO it until i started at Reed, which has a regular & active fire troupe; things there r pretty chill you can show up and play with props, and ask people about what they do, and @ any point if you feel confident enough you can go up & put somethin on fire to music

so -- basically, if you wanna start, my advice would be to look around if there’s a troupe in your area? & then just ... show up, my experience has been that people are super chill & excited when ppl wanna learn their stuff :O
