TODAY HAD BEEN A wonderfully good day for mini . not that there was anything special about it , but the mere fact that the past few hours went by smoothly & peacefully did wonders for the girl ! it was quite satisfying , to say the least . perhaps that is why she carried a bright smile on her lips when exiting the able siblings & wondered whether to visit the fleur de la mer to get a pastry or two , or maybe stop at the rooster for some coffee . maybe she’d even get to do some doodling while there !
as mini started making her way towards the docks , her bright , twinkly eyes caught sight of an all too familiar figure . it took her a second to remember where she & saint stood this week --- after all , it was sometimes hard to keep track , given the amount of times their relationship went back & forth . suddenly , she remembered why today had surprised her with it’s smoothness ; the past few days had her feeling unlike herself , undoubtedly due to their most recent breakup ... wasn’t this exactly what she wanted , anyway ? to not feel worried or burdened by saint’s terrible choices ? straightening her posture & taking a deep breath , the pink - haired girl took a couple of steps towards the guy , a delicate smile on her rosebud lips . ❝ hi saint , ❞ mini greeted , trying to be the bigger person . this was all for the better , right ? ❝ are you crossing islands ? not that i’m curious or anything , i’m just leaving eastbell for the day ... ❞ & if he wanted to join her , it would be hard to say no .
