There was an NYT article about the hundredth burning of Zozobra in Santa Fe Nm

People write down their fears and what they think is holding them back and put into a Gloom Box which is put into Zozobra, which is a giant marionette who is then set on fire.

I so want to see this in person now

 Also, for those who are curious, I have published a doujin a few years back. A 60 page, grayscale dedication to Mary, a character in the indie game titled Ib. I follows the story perspective from her viewpoint throughout the game and is told through images rather than words. It was a experiment and a challenge for myself since I wanted to increase my drawing speed and tried to complete this in 1 month on top of skipping my sketching step to jump straight to outright drawing things (the lineart). It increased speed, but I won't draw without sketching again since I feel it lets me flush out details and proportions a lot better.

 Anyway, it's still up for sale. I hope you enjoy it~
