Introducing the newest Millenimal!! Burning Manatee!!! She is packed and ready to head to the playa on Friday! Originally from Florida, Burning Manatee (her Playa name is Mana) has been in the bay for a number of years. She’s a vegetarian, a Sagittarius (with an Aries moon and Virgo rising), and a total lefty liberal. She’s laid back and go with the flow, always down for a dance party or a deep philosophical conversation, whether she’s on shrooms or not. She lives in Oakland in a live/work space with several other artists and works part time in a bike shop when she isn’t helping out on a sculpt. No one is completely clear on what kind of artist she is, but she always seems to be working on something vague and larger than life, much like every story she tells after coming back from Burning Man.
