Field trips sucked. Field trips sucked more when they were camping trips. Not that Jeremy hated being outdoors so much as he hated the cold, wet, and complete discomfort of sleeping out there. He didn't like rocks poking into his back nor did he like being wet and cold. Mostly cold. The rain had stopped a while ago (would have stopped sooner but powers were banned so 'Ro couldn't do anything) but most of the ground was still wet.

He was huddled by the slowly dying campfire grumbling something or another about how evil his parents were when he felt someone sit next to him and wrap a blanket around them both.

"Thanks," he murmured scooting closer. "It's really cold."
