         Tatsuya might be living in Los Angeles, the street basketball tournament he had participated in in this very city had been all too far from home for him to want to come back for the night between the two days it was held, the few friends he had living nearby being unable to let him stay at their place either. Spending the night at an hotel had been the best option he could think of, if only to not add more tiredness the public transports would impart him, preferring to fully concentrate on games that would be no easy feat to win despite his team being one he was well acquainted with. The matches, regardless of how exhausting they could get under the summer sun, had been less difficult than the shooting guard had expected thus far and even though he couldn't wait to take a shower and have a good rest, he had been slightly less tired than he had expected.

         What had truly taken him aback however, was to know that the hotel he had planned on staying at had been full already, not having realized that there had been a convention nearby, its visitors having booked most rooms. The raven-haired male had been unwilling to leave for hotels around would most likely be as busy as this one or change his plans to head back home, instead asking the hostess for a better way of handling the situation despite being unsure of the result it might achieve. Sharing a room with another client didn't sound so bad, a proposition he gladly accepted for he had no intention of bothering their room-mate for the night so long as he had a bed for himself to get some well deserved rest. A double of the keys in hand, Tatsuya headed to his room, seeing that the other patron wasn't present just yet upon walking inside, placing his bags to the floor before sitting on one of the two double beds the room contained, reflecting on the day he had just spent playing as well as pondering how the next would unfold.
