              “ three won’t know. ” three WOULD know. “ i can keep my emotions to myself, you know. i don’t HAVE to tell you anything. ” four had a spur hope recently given to him, just some news on his family. perhaps he was QUIETER, less prone to lash out.

      “ sorry__ i just... i didn’t expect you to be as early as i am... ” he shifts a little awkwardly but attempts a weak smile. sehun removed the earphone from his ear, head shaking lightly to fix his hair. “ i’m still quite tired, could we get a coffee? ”

worry about? scott grins from his spot, already tearing open the pizza box and taking a slice. the poor delivery girl clearly had no idea, throwing herself at robin as soon as he opened the door. 

“so if they send a cute boy, i’ve gotta worry. just in case you decide to take him in and nurse him back to health?” 

except scott’s been better for days. his injuries were minor, but his boss doesn’t know where he is, and he wants to keep that for as long as possible. and robin’s sweet, the blonde hasn’t been cared for like this since he split from home. 

“girls are great. boys have always been easier, in my experience.”

a starter for @burnsidcd [ jaein && dante ]

jaein gets antsy easily. she’s not sure if it’s, like, a demon thing or more of a unique personality trait that she just hasn’t properly acknowledge as one yet, but either way, boring is usually on the tip of her tongue. how could humans be so creative in some situations yet so dull in others? even the wildest of mortals tend to have to shut down at one point every night to recharge. maybe jaein should try sleeping, but, you know, that’s so so boring.

the only other people she can turn to are fellow immortal heathens, but a lot of demons these days tend to do their own thing, since, well, it’s a big bad world out there. not even jaein has the capacity to raise that much hell on her own. or, maybe she does, but it’s always fun to get someone else to tag along. 

greed is someone she knows she can rely on, right? he’s always out and about, and he seems to be enjoying himself without anything holding him back, so why not?

“if you’re going out tonight, let me tag along.” there’s... an implicit question in there somewhere, like where are you going tonight? can i come?, but she doesn’t like asking as much as telling. “everything has been so boring lately, and if i don’t go somewhere cool, i might end up pulling an old testament god and start smiting.”

HE’D been down this road a few times before. KARTER KANE was a well traveled man with EXCELLENT experience in his craft, which meant for those PROFESSORS seeking real world outlooks, he was the GUY, but this time he’d had a STUDENT approach him on the matter.

“M’guessin’ yer gonna ask fer TIPS?”

        Another wasted night of sleep, another successful painting. What Comet doesn’t realize, however, is that he has left a bit of his artwork behind on his skin, and is unknowingly flaunting it around in public. A giant purple splotch of acrylic, almost in the shape of a heart, stains his right cheek as he walks through the aisles of the crafts store. It appears almost purposeful, which is probably the reason why no one has pointed it out yet, but when he notices a couple strangers nearby staring at him pretty intensely, he can’t help but to shy away in fear that they may be judging him just for being, well...him. It’s enough to make him duck his head, quickly grabbing a sketchbook from the shelf to make himself seem busy and distracted, and to give off the impression that he’s uncaring of their prying eyes.
