"Hey Gav," Burnie says, casual, resting his chin on Gavin's shoulder—and Gavin doesn't think much of it, really, let's him rest there, let's Burnie's hands find purchase on his hips, causal.

"Burns," Gavin says back, leaning into him the tiniest bit, "Fancy seeing you here."

Burnie snorts quietly in his ear, "I work here, idiot," he says, his voice soft and fond.

He just grins, "Yeah, I guess you do."

Burnie's mouth is soft, almost hesitant against his, belaying just how long it's been since they've done this.

"'m not gonna break," Gavin mumbles when Burnie gives him a moment to breathe, mouth finding the slope of his throat, "You know this," he adds, voice going higher, breathier.

Burnie just hums, drags his fingertips along Gavin's sides until he's pulling at the hem of his shirt, leaning back long enough to get it off of him.

"Burnie," Gavin breathes, eyes squeezing shut, head tipping back when Burnie's mouth finds his throat again and Burnie stops, long enough for Gavin to realize, for him to exhale loudly.

"Daddy," he says finally, and Burnie's mouth finds his skin again, teeth biting and sucking a mark into his throat, just high enough to be obvious.

(Gavin'll complain later, but Burnie's used to it by now. Knows if Gavin actually hated it, he'd stop him.)

"You're so good for me," Burnie whispers, guiding Gavin back towards the couch, "So good for me, baby."

Gavin whines this time, clenching his fingers in Burnie's shirt and tugging, "Daddy." He says again, almost desperate this time.

Burnie kisses him, slow and gentle, puts every feeling into it he can, feeling Gavin relax under his touch. "I've missed you too, baby."

Gavin says his favourite Immersion moment was in NBA Jam when his head caught on fire because “that was the moment when I realized you [Burnie] were concerned for my health”
