Moroccan Swag
Photo Solve Maxwell, Words Reed G.
From her boots on up, Amie's outfit is awesome. The former Anthropologie employee scored her leather bag on a trip to Morocco. She put in over an hour's worth of hardcore haggling, and walked away with quite a find.

Breaking the Rules

English teacher Chelsea's use of color and pattern-mixing, shows us that old school rules are out the window. These days anything goes and the results are freakin' sweet.

Anne moved here from Paris 10 years ago, and can often be seen walking around Nob Hill. We can thank her for dropping some of her Parisian flavor on our town.
Friday Feature-Dressed to Kill
Photo and words by Reed G.
Steven Keator, owner of the Downtown menswear boutique Dressed to Kill, makes it clear that his store is not just another peddler of menswear; it encapsulates the very essence of being a gentleman. He said in today’s world men are lacking rituals that should be taught to them at a young age.
“Father’s teaching their sons how to shine their shoes on Saturday night for Sunday’s best,” He lamented. “We are missing out on the training; how to tie or how to treat a lady.”
The atmosphere is much more relaxed than one would expect from an upscale store. The dapper displays, and distinguished colognes, the floor-to-ceiling windows that look out on to Copper Avenue, and Keator’s friendly demeanor, make Dressed to Kill a comfortable spot to suit up.
Every Friday evening Keator hosts “Wine down for the weekend,” a casual way to check out the store and discover your inner gentleman.

From LA to Burque

Jessica, this stylish BCBG employee and thrifter, recently returned to the 505 from Los Angles. When comparing the two cities, Jessica stays true to her hometown. "People here dress better -- they have more style because they have less to work with," she said. That's right Albuquerque, keep whipping it up.
