Whaaat? Why?

Hello and Welcome to my Blog

With this first post I want to answer the questions why I run this blog and what made me want to change my life.

What has happened:

As we know from movies there is always someone who makes someone else look stupid. Maybe because one person tries everything to get the other ones attention or because one breaks the other ones heart. In my case it was version two. After 8 years it was over and I had fallen into a deep hole.

After I managed to look forward again, I began with the first changes in my life. I quit my job and got one with more free time, and began to do things the world always made me believe I couldn't do on my own. More of this in my following posts.

What about that “Stahlbursche” thing?

Well I always looked young, younger than I actually am. But since I turned 30 it felt worse. I still get asked for my ID if I want to enter a bar or buy alcohol. A few month ago I went with workmates to a restaurant and we ordered a round of beer. And what should I say, the waitress asked one of my mates if the boy (Bursche in German) is allowed to drink beer.

My workmates found it funny, so they got me a T-Shirt with the label Stahlbursche (steel-boy) on it. The thing is, the shirt was only available for kids age 12-14 years. And it fits! This was the point where I finally decided to start working out.

But why am I here?

Simply to share my life with people who are interested in and keep me motivated by your input.
