Unlike the last two films I've watched, I really enjoyed this one. One way of telling if you enjoyed a film or not, and if it's ever worth watching again, is did you find yourself wondering "How much longer?" or "when is this over?" while watching the movie. That's obvious that the movie must not be keeping your attention. I love watching a movie and not wondering that at all, and this was one of those movies.
So it had my attention from the beginning, and I liked Nate's introduction, but I thought Andy's introduction was a little, I don't know, misleading and unnecessary. I definitely think they could have done that a little differently. And, uhm, the way Nate and Andy met was was also weird, and really creepy. In a way it was kind of original, but also a bit unrealistic. Not acting wise, just scenario wise. But from that point on, I thought the movie flowed really smoothly, and I liked the progression of their friendship, everything happened one step at a time. All the little happenings throughout the movie were well played out, and all together it fit into a nice little film.
The only scene that I didn't really like, besides the ones already mentioned, was Nate's and Andy's little make-out scene, which just turned into a flashback between a make-out between Andy and his ex-boyfriend, which it wasn't clear if he was dead, or if he just left without a trace. Anyway, I didn't like that. I get that Andy was still all hung up on that dude, but I just didn't like how they portrayed it.
But no other complaints. It really was a good movie, I enjoyed it, and there is a chance that I would watch it again.
