( a vacancy paints upon sharpened features. o, how he struggles to restrain the sneer & the bite! the ends of his lips twitch, crinkling backwards into folding skin ---- melding flesh. his countenance becomes an array of masked anger, discrepancy; a thick layer of hospitality paints upon his features: ALABASTER lies, alabaster teeth [ new and sharp, he could be a THRESHING sledge ]. his head rolls, tilting to the side, & his chin juts forward, in subtle movements, as though to convey a STANCE. placid lips, previously in the default of expressing distaste, melds into a thin curve; a hostile smile, a faintness. he does have the courtesy and the manners to keep the hostility underneath veneers. )
