Well. Honestly a lot more similar than most people would admit for a misunderstood character like Katherine?

But since I'm already villainized on this fucking site I might as well just let it add to my "Irl Katherine Pierce" rep you know?

We have a lot of the same trauma, a lot of betrayal, a lot of losing people we cared for deeply, a lot of bad childhood memories. Both had a relentless stalker hell bent on ruining our lives. We've both done some really shitty things to survive. Both have BPD. Both lost a kid. (She got hers back tho love that for her)

Both can be jealous, obsessive, and toxic at times (yea comes with the bpd).

But I think we're also both capable of loving someone completely, flaws included. Both capable of bringing out the best or the worst in someone. Both smart. We're both funny as hell. Both hot as fUck boi. Both have ppl fall in love with us that then proceed to make it our problem when we did very little to provoke it lmfao. We both have zero emotional regulation. Both can crash out in very toxic dangerous ways.

I think really where we differ, really is that I have a harder time tossing names on a hit list than she does. Katherine and I both make friends for safety but hers are for her safety. Mine is for theirs. I like to create an atmosphere where people can come and feel valid, and cared for without having to pretend or mask to be "easier to swallow". I like to have people feel like they can come crash out without judgement. I like people to know that if they're having problems someones in their corner. That if someone is giving you shit I will go to war for you, you don't have to face it alone. Where people tell you youre too loud, I tell you no no keep going its nice to see you happy. WHere people tell you you should get over it I will listen to you bitch about it for months because it hurt and your feelings are valid.

I think in that respect I'm more like my OC Nova than Katherine. But the rest of it? Katherine and I might as well just be the same person.

Unprompted! What would she consider a fate worse than death?

Good morning!

Canonically a fate worse than death for Katherine is an always has been a life without or without the hope of Love.

And this theme quite literally follows her up until her death. And she states in her give up speech to Bonnie "I guess I could have run for another 500 years, but for what? My Daughter was dying and Stefan would never love me."

So the impossibility of having love in her life from the two sources she could have, are what inevitably lead to Katherine entertaining her own death. She straight gave up because love was no longer an option for her. Which was a fate worse than death.

Betty loved dogs, and Cosmo was adorable that the teen could not help herself but to compliment Cosmo. Betty giggled as her left hand gently rubbed her head. "Awe, thank you, Cosmo!" She would say, reaching into her pocket to take a dog treat, handing it to her. "You deserve a treat!"

Oh Katherine is ever present. Never struggle with muse for her ever. The only thing I struggle to do with her is get her to do her fucking drafts. Asks she will answer all day. Drafts the stars have to align.

But if I had to pick something that gets her going the most its probably threads where I get to focus on the parts of her that arent the two traits people boil her down to which is sex and violence. Bc shes not overly either of those things.

I have a lot of inspiration to write instances where I can focus on how her BPD is affecting her reactions and motivations in a moment too. I like being given a platform where i can break down a reaction to make it seem more understandable to someone who doesnt have bpd, or even does and doesnt understand why they react a certain way.

And hopefully by giving some light to the inner aspects of her behaviors it will help people see her as something other than an "evil bitch" bc shes not. She's struggling. Constantly. And she doesn't get even a little help with it shes villainized for it.

So I guess if I had to pick something that truly inspires me its my mission to change people's minds about who Katherine is, and bring the dash the best version of her to love.

Send ♬ for a childhood headcanon.

Ahhh Katerina was a lively adventurous little girl.

In the flash back we see where she shows Nadia the childhood she should have had, she talks about how Nadia would play by the stream and build a little stick fort, and that's because that was the best part of Katerina's childhood. Times where she could be off on an adventure carefree.

Climbing trees, hopping rocks, trying to catch animals, building little safe spaces for herself.

Katerina loved the exploration and adventure as a child, and would be out every day for as long as she could be until it became no longer acceptable bc it wasn't "lady like" for her to be running around the woods and climbing trees.
