Bust a Base

“I’m in position Nine.”

Good. Stick to the plan as scheduled and get out quietly. I won’t detonate the bombs until you’re clear.

This was the third base that he and Nine planned to destroy in their path to vengeance for both their troubled past and Insomnia. Oddly enough by now Twelve had already settled into a calm routine of quietly sneaking around in the dark and placing their home made bombs where they would do the most damage.

However what the brunette didn’t expect when he slipped around a corner was to nearly collide with a certain blonde. For a moment he lept with joy since he hadn’t seen Prompto since he left for Altissa with the Prince and other friends, and if the situation had been less serious he would’ve tackled him with joy and given him a good kiss. Instead Prompto was yanked down while Twelve simultaneously turned off his communication line with Nine. 

“What are you doing here?” He hissed in a whisper, deciding to indeed take a brief moment to kiss him on the cheek before getting back to the matter at hand. “This place is gonna explode in like...Ten minutes!”
