Already posted this on reddit, but I remember coming across this French Magazine titled Player One that had these unseen renders of some BAG characters (except for Hiro's since his render was on the cover of the official vinyl release), and I've been trying to pinpoint exactly where these images come from. I already came across the image of Kitty-N online but there's no source behind it. I did find a listing of another magazine that contained the renders plus Heat but unfortunately it was sold out😿. I'm thinking it may have originated from the official PlayStation website for Europe or a press kit disc but I can't confirm.

Columbo & Columbo !!

When I was first getting into Bust A Groove, I had a lingering feeling that Columbo, his name, to be specific, felt so familiar. Oh, where have I heard that name before ????? [I’m not thinking of the country Colombia am I ???]

I eventually figured it out and I’ve had the urge to draw both Columbos together ever since. This was going to be much more simple but the BAG style is so enchanting, it can instantly improve a drawing by being inspired by it; flashy cities at night are just perfect.

Also, this is my first time drawing Columbo [human] !! [but not my first time drawing Columbo [mouse]] so I hope he looks great to trained eyes. Something that was really annoying is that I fell into trouble with how I should draw his hair, I think we can all agree that it changes noticeably from each season, but to me, it changes throughout a singular episode. I’ll have to draw him more just to figure all that out. But I really love drawing lazy eyes so that was the most important and exciting part for me.

Did you know the parappa guy (rodney greenblat) made this animated series for an extremely "pop team epic" flavored kids show (like for kindergartners or somthin) called Ugo Ugo Ruga that aired in the early 90s?

Also motherfucking Jamiroquai was on it in like 1994?

According 2 my research, this show has like a huge cult following in japan, it was so good that adults were watching it back in the day too
