This is not a request, but how do you think Izuru would be in a relationship? I have seen a lot of fics where Y/N somehow is not boring to him, which I find weird. Do you think instead they would make themselves not boring? Idk how to explain, my English is not perfect. Make him appreciate other things in life other than unpredictability, even if it's something you see often in your daily life? (Can I be 🌻 anon?)

Hmm... As for Izuru, I find it difficult that he’d think of anyone as “not boring” upon first meeting them, y’know? The mindset of percieving the world as dull is fiaxted on for his character so I doubt, realistically, it’d change upon one person.

So, yeah, I think Y/N will likely have to be the one to change themselves to catch his attention; which inevitably isn’t healthy, especially in terms of a relationship. But, even so, if they change themselves and he finds it interesting somehow, he can still adapt to the change; what he once thought was perculiar about you is now normal, boring to him.

Y/N—if they go through grueling path of changing themselves—will likely experience heartbreak after heartbreak upon him finding the new version of themselves boring. They’ll eventually become a husk of who they once were, and lose their true self entirely.

So let’s say that instead of changing themselves, they show Izuru the wonders of the everyday life. This, I believe, would be a challenge. But it’s possible!

There are an abundance of mysteries and fascination amongst the average day-to-day things!

For example, trees are a pretty normal sight—of at least, I hope they remain to be—for the average citizen. There isn’t anything inherently interesting about them other than the basics of assisting with the production of oxygen.

But did you know that certain trees, more specifically Acacia trees, are capable of warning each other of oncoming danger? If animals are consuming their leaves, they actually emit a gas—ethylene—which travels through the wind to other Acacia trees as an alert! It also releases an abundance of tanin production which can be toxic to the animal in which it considers dangerous. That’s pretty cool!

Well, what about penguins? They’re cute and small! You can even buy a plushie of them, they’re an adorable animal. But did you know that a penguin species—albeit now exitinct—was approximately seven feet tall? That’s a great contrast to the penguins we’re ever-so familiar with now!

Anyways, back to Izuru, surely he has to find something interesting. Y/N could always stay beside him and show him the innermost wonders of the world within the average sight.

And if he does find it “not boring” he’ll likely link the fascination of these discoveries with you! My guess is that he’ll probably follow you around like a lost puppy, awaiting what other glory of the day-to-day thing you’ll inform him of next!
