As if the familiar wasn't already a mess of nerves. Blow after blow, he just never seemed to catch a damn break. He really figures there must be something hardwired. There must be something so wrong in him, to make him deserve pile after pile of shit. A smart mouth can't be the only thing. His first claim in years. And he was damn sure the guy didn't even like him. Like, at all. He was sure that he was just in a world of probably constant hurt, that in close proximity to the wolf. All.of.the.time. And sure-- He hasn't even wanted to get claimed. But he had hoped if he ever was again, it was because the master or mistress was at least fond of him.
And Berwyn. Now he's without his Warlock too. If there was ever a time to feel completely alone, completely hopeless-- This was it. This isn't how 'special bonds' are supposed to work. What the hell was he supposed to do now? Have himself a little panic attack. That's what.
He had came back to his cell to gather the few things he had earned since the attack, to find the other slaves cell open and completely empty. Stripped. He had kept it together long enough to get back out of their and into the fresh air, but that was about it. Before his chest was too tight. Just too too tight. He has to grip the nearest wall just to stay up-right; rubbing furiously at glassy green eyes. Because he is not straight up sobbing right out here in the open. But he's pretty sure he can't breathe and he just-- he just needs to sit. So he slides down against that wall and curls in on himself. His little bundle of knick knacks squished between his chest and his legs.
He barely notices anyone passing by, but when one stops, he's quick to try and wave them off. "I'm going, I'm going.. I just need a second. I'm going."
