My spin on Zuke's NSR 2 design!

I'm sure Metronomik know what they are doing. However! Having now seen some concepts for the second game, I had to... reconsider... some things.

With this outfit, I strived to keep him elegant, rectangular, cool. But I also wanted to bring back what his NSR 2 outfit lacks, like his whimsy and his boob window.

Ramblings, references and a couple alt versions that didn't make the cut under read more!

So, first, let me share some photos someone took at the Comic Fiesta. These are some Zuke drafts they've had:

In these, they experiment with his style in general. Honestly, each of the drafts is interesting in its own way! So, the fact that they picked the simple shirt and jeans combination... Well, I'm a little more than just disappointed.

That being said, my personal favorites:

photo 1 number 3, where Zuke wears a skirt and a ponytail;

photo 2, numbers 7 and 11, where they experiment more with his ponytail length;

photo 3, number 2, where he has a tattoo on his arm, and number 7, where he looks a little more formal with the jacket.

I kept these in mind when conceptualizing my own idea.

One of the things I wanted to play around was the skirt. And after settling on the denim look, I was looking up jean skirts. And then I found the most gorgegous model on Camper website:

They are really selling this look, in my humble opinion. At least I know I was sold on it.

But before that, I had a couple more looks I thought of:

These are fine, but they both were missing something that the final look just seems to have!
