because i’ve been so into utau recently, i’ve thought about perhaps trying to come up with an idea for a higher range/feminine vocal, probably with a completely different character to go along with it, but i’m worried it would just make me dysphoric dnsjdshsjsddjs

Every time someone says they’re learning ‘x language‘ via Duolingo, Memrise or any of these language learning apps I cringe internally.

#like I mean... :|#no matter how complete and engaging those apps may be they're not the end all be all #I mean they are great and fine to act as support or complement more formal language learning #but like... you know #I am not saying those apps are useless and that you can't have any actual learning or grasp of the language by using them #what I am saying is that there are certain aspects of language learning that call for the guidance help and support of a teacher #to really understand what you're picking up
