Hello everyone. I love you.

I've been busy with a new job and am not ignoring anyone. I just truly have been too swamped to be on for more than 5 mins at a time lately. That said, someone I once considered a mentor told me that Jews don't deserve to have non-Jews speak up against antisemitism because Muslims are dying. Also, I'm a narcissist for thinking anybody should care about Jews, apparently. Also ranking the suffering of one group against the suffering of another group is totally normal and also a morally superior choice and not a weird thing to do to two groups who both deserve humane treatment and justice. Also, pointing out that he has never spoken up for Jews in the past 3 years in any way is policing him. Also criticizing the JVP and providing credible sources as to why and alternative foundations and organizations that continue to support safety for Palestinians and MENA-based Muslims more generally is "cheapening" the definition of "hatred" somehow?????? Also you can ONLY be against islamophobia or antisemitism. It is IMPOSSIBLE to be against both. It's even MORE impossible to actually speak out against both wrongs publicly. That would just be...against the laws of physics or something. OH, AND HOW CAN I FORGET. YEAH, 10/7 WAS BAD, BUT NOTHING ELSE BAD HAS HAPPENED TO ACTUAL JEWS SINCE THEN SO I SHOULD SHUT UP ABOUT IT. SO WHAT IF SOME TEMPLES AND HOLOCAUST MEMORIALS GOT DEFACED. IT'S NOT LIKE ANY JEWS WERE ACTUALLY HURT OR KILLED SINCE 10/7/23, APPARENTLY!!!!!!! AND SAYING THAT THIS LINE OF THINKING MAKES SOMEONE A BIGOT IS JUST CALLING ANYONE WHO DISAGREES WITH ME A BIGOT. Or so my former mentor WHO WAS A COLLEGE PROFESSOR UNTIL THIS PAST YEAR thinks, at least. SO IN CASE ANYONE WAS WONDERING HOW LIFE AS A DIASPORA JEW IS GOING: NOT GREAT, BOB.

patience, please. i know everyone is waiting for more DCA x Reader content. i'm sorry i've only been doing self indulgent stuff lately. i'll try to work on other things.

on another note, do you guys think anyone would be willing to pay me to edit/proofread their work? or even pay for me to write short one-shots for them? i'm not picky about what i write, and i was really good at writing papers during my school years. i don't know if that's a marketable skill or not but i was told i was good enough that i could consider tutoring,, just. y'know, if you think people would be interested, let me know.

Life lately 📚📖

Writing and making creative writing resources for my Etsy shop.

I’m thinking of doing my masters degree. Especially after everything that has happened lately. I miss learning. And I think I need to do something that will make me happy. Though I could do with my Etsy making a bit more money to fund the degree 😂
