Do y’all know how long it takes to animate things? I promise you if a bunch of fans make fanart/fic/hcs of something happening and two weeks later it happens in canon, the showrunners did NOT steal it from you.
I find it really difficult that someone makes a choice, there's an inevitable consequence of that choice, I point out that consequence, I am told they don't care, I come to terms with the consequences, the consequences happen, and I am THEN supposed to sympathize with them about the inevitable consequence I grieved for years ago.
