It might just be me, but I also feel like by continually making Blaine's homosexuality about him "not liking girls" as opposed to "liking boys" they're reinforcing the idea that heterosexuality is the norm, like we, gay guys, are the negative in this situation and owe heterosexual girls something to make up for that, idek, xoxo gossip gay

huh, that's actually an interesting point that hadn't occurred to me, just the simple fact of how they've made being a gay dude about "not girls" instead "guys". i guess that's a more fox-friendly value for gay, but it totally does make it seem like hetero is the default and blaine is some weird outlier. lol i honestly cannot believe blaine has what is essentially a female midgame love interest.
