HNDR daemon AU (revised)

I made one of these a while back but here’s my revised version.

What is a daemon AU:

Based off of the book series “His Dark Materials”. In the protagonist’s universe every person’s soul takes the form of an animal (a daemon) they can communicate with and must always be physically near. There’s a lot more to it than that but the basics are that their daemon will settle into whatever form best represents their human’s personality as they reach adolescence.
