sometimes i just forget that me writing is me like WRITING STORIES. like sure it’s not as long as a book but it has a plot, characters, it’s structured like a book for the most part- and I can do that. for some reason i simplify the worth that my writing has and i don’t know why- because like it’s rlly cool that i can do that. it’s rlly cool that anyone can do that. especially fic writers- who aren’t getting anything for their fics. a lot off people down play fanfiction even though there’s some really talented people who write fanfics. people who say fanfics aren’t “real writing” or “books” clearly have never written a fanfiction. because like dude- writing is writing. just because you’re not getting money for doesn’t mean it ain’t real. your fanfic is something to be proud of- not something that is “just a fanfiction.” because friend YOU DID THAT. you made someone smile. or cry. or laugh. you made someone mutter “oh my god.” or “damn.”. THAT WAS YOU. like when im writing- i feel like i underestimate what im doing. im putting together a story- THAT PEOPLE READ. AND IT WORKS AND IT MAKES SENSE AND I JUST-

naomi was born in miami, florida and was raised in a rather rough part of town. her parents dated on and off until her father eventually left them to be with one of his on the side boyfriends, whom he eventually married.
naomi was 4 at the time
her father then went on to adopt two sons with his new husband. the only contact naomi had with her father for a long time after he left was alimony checks and annual birthday cards (often sent late)
she was typically the shyest of her friends, usually the one that let others speak for her and didn’t spend much time with anyone but her books outside of the classroom. this would change as she grew into her skin, eventually becoming more confident through sports and discovering a talent for journalism.
being from a low income family with only her mother as her primary support, naomi worked several part time jobs throughout her high school career, occasionally working two at once. she didn’t like relying on anyone else as she had learned at a young age that others will often let you down.
sometime in high school she reconnected with her father, though she mostly made the decision so she could be involved in her brothers’ lives. she still resents her father (though she wouldn’t admit it) for leaving her mother. she’s always had a bit of a fantasy that they would eventually get back together. she romanticizes things in this way a lot.
she ran away from home her senior year. there was very little reasoning behind her decision. it was the first of many impulsive decisions that would follow. she ended up finishing high school online while living with her aunt and uncle in connecticut and attending their alma mater, radcliffe.
at radcliffe, with the help of the friends she made her freshman year, naomi began to finally break out of her shell. she attended parties willingly instead of spending her time working or studying, even got into casual drinking and drug use. cigarettes became her accessory of choice.
she still works a job to help support herself, but her aunt and uncle pitched in to help with her tuition, along with more regular support from her father.

There isn’t any wrong combination, and no one is directly evil or good, all the Celestial Deities hold a neutral alignment, anywhere between Lawful to Chaotic.
