i will say this: in a society where being cishet is the perceived default, i find no harm in wanting your idols to be lgbt+.

but i do find harm in forcing any type of label or identity on these people i.e. nagging them on twitter and other social media, digging deep into everything they say and do.

it’s gradually getting better, but there’s such a lack of lgbt+ folk in media and if you have a headcanon where your favorite actor or musician/artist is lgbt+ then that should be ok!
