Hey Miurin007! I just want to say that I really love your art, it's perfect! I absolutely love your drawing style with its sharp angles and monochrome palette. The fact that you can draw something like that using only one color is so impressive! And your drawings made me fall in love with Eric even more XD I also have a question for you: have you ever thought about drawing illustrations for Gaston Leroux's novel? All the things you draw are usually just portraits or cute Eric/Christine scenes, but what about drawing actual scenes from the book? I think a lot of fans would really enjoy looking at them while rereading the book. In fact, I would even buy a book with your illustrations, haha! Anyway, what do you think about it? I have dreamed of illustrating Leroux's Phantom in full since I was a teenager! But I've never done it partially because it's so intimidating. The story means so much to me. Would I do it justice? Am I skilled enough as an artist to do it? (In many ways, I don't think so!) Do I have the time to do it justice? (This is the biggest stumbling block for me, beyond self-doubt. I have such a busy work schedule all the time in a field I do not particularly care for, but I'd love nothing more than to get paid to illustrate full-time instead!)

I've toyed with the idea of launching a Kickstarter to fund the work, since I'd want to go very elaborate with it, but I also know things are financially hard for almost every single person on the planet right now, and I'd feel weird asking for donations. I also think of people like Bernie Wrightson, who illustrated absolute masterpieces in his free time just for the heck of it. I'm no Wrightson, but if he can do it, maybe I can?

I think it's just a matter of me getting started, honestly. I've been dying to illustrate Phantom my entire life. I think I just need to do it, self-doubt and all!

#it would also necessitate a ton of reference shots which I KNOW my friends would love to help me with #And that in and of itself could be a super fun project #IDEALLY I would need a male model who is very long and tall and thin #for you-know-who #But the very very cool thing is that the inside of our house is extremely Victorian and gothic #so it lends itself very well to Phantom-y shots for reference #but yes!!!!#this is a bucket list dream of mine #phantom of the opera

Update: did not listen to my own advice and started to watch S1E5 despite knowing I'd be insufferable about it.

Two things:

1.) I realized I forgot that Damon did some freaky mind meld shit with Care from miles away (excited about the implications of that and what I can do with it in fanfic)

2.) And then realized I double forgot that Zach's last words were to tell Care to run.

Anyway. Took a two hour cry nap.

I’m back in the rhythm game hole again..

sooooo being on my switch for tomodachi life 2 has inspired me to come back to Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA Mega Mix! i loveeee all kinds of rhythm games, but especially this one bc i also loveee vocaloid!!! but i haven’t played in literal like MONTHS, so i was so worried that i was gonna have to basically start from scratch!

nope!!!!! doing better than ever boys!!!!! i’m at a like 6.5/10 stars on hard (bc yes, depending on the difficulty, the same star # can be VASTLY different), when before i think i was comfortably at maybe a 7 or 7.5-8? so not bad at all! i even got a new high score on a song!!

What we need to expand more on is Izuku‘s friendship with class 1-B. Kendo can bond with martial arts. Monoma on quirk analysis. Pony with American pop culture or heroes. Tetsu is 1-B Kiri. That’s what I got so far. Then the Izuku crew expands to the support dept. then the GE dept. and then the management dept.
