#gu6chan plays degrees of lewdity #okay so for my dod friends lemme catch you up to speed this is some funny shit #so there are love interests (LIs) and NPCs in sol #and they're managed by two different creators (Vrel; creator of the game; and Purityguy; co-creator)#and they both have different characters they work in yadayada...#ANYWAYS the current 'update' we're on is supposed to be focused on a character named avery I suppose who I'm not following very much #so I can't say much else but like. point is update's focused on expanding their content and so #EXCEPT #OUT OF THE FUCKING BLUE #THERE'S THIS NPC WHO RUNS A SHOP IN THE WOODS AND GETS LIKE 2.5 LINES OF DIALOGUE (they're just this slightly-suspicious #kid running a clothing shop in the middle of the woods that specialises in certain transformation clothes or basically overall just shit you #can unlock that boosts certain stats or needs certain requirements to earn. the shopkeeper themselves is BARELY present beyond their intro)#anyways. this new update is entirely focused on them #not even like 'heres a bit more about the friendly shopkeeper! :)' BUT HE FUCKING TOOK HARPERS HYPNOSIS MECHANIC;#HIS SHOP IS NOW ANOTHER SAFE HOUSE COMPARED TO THE TEMPLE; AND HE'S SUDDENLY JUST ... EVERYWHERE???#you go to the cafe. there's gwylan. you walk on the streets. there's gwylan. ONE PERSON WAS HAVING EDEN'S CHILD AND THEY SUDDENLY JUMP IN #OUT OF NOWHERE TO HELP DELIVER. EDEN IS A FOREST HERMIT HE LIVES IN THE WOODS #that and despite the devs saying that future pregnancy updates are very unlikely for some characters bc they take a lot of time to develop #you'll never guess who was found with their pregnancy content half-finished #also and albeit from what was established of him WAS very limited all this content coming out about this fuckass kid is so strangely ooc #it's like they're outright just a different person. like that's NOT my mousy little shopkeeper. anyways ppl are pissed off to all hell about #this bc WHO are you and why are you everywhere. why is this degrees of gwylan now #and the second thing is that mods have been revealed to be stalking the profiles of dol accounts online and banning them from the server #based on posts made on like #Twitter. mostly it's just ONE mod (Purityguy) leading the charge but omfg #anyways it's a shit show and it's funny as hell lmao

In my in-person dnd the dm today brought in a 16 year old trans boy as a new player. And he's genuinely chill, but i also had a moment of like "oh god im over a decade older than him. I want to make him feel welcome but I need to make sure I'm not weird about it". Bc it's that thing of like. There's certain things I won't joke about in the presence of teens and all, even tho I know they likely have already heard that kind of thing b4, bc it just doesnt feel right to encourage that kind of atmosphere with adults for them.

So i ended up just pulling out my big rainbow d20 I thankfully had with me to subtly signal that I'm One Of Us too. And then just tried my best to help include his character in the game so he could have fun too. And I hope it worked out 🥺🥺🥺
