Hello! you’re probably Sick of seeing all the Moomin everywhere because that’s all I am now.

But to answer your question, Moomin is a Finnish-Swedish franchise made by bisexual (which is important to note due to the queer subtexts) Tove Jansson back in the 40s, originally comic strips in the newspaper and then whole books and children’s picture books. There have been numerous reboots of the series over the years as shows, movies, and shorts through tons of different animation forms, probably one of most popular being the 1990 Japanese collaboration anime “The Moomins”

and the current “Moominvalley” that’s airing right now in numerous languages (I think the eps come out in Finland on Mondays?)

So far I’ve only seen the Moomins and Moominvalley, so I can’t say much for the rest of the series.

ANYWAY it’s just. a bunch of little creatures going on adventures and it has. So many profound tidbits of philosophy and important themes. Like there’s a whole arc on child abuse. The show radiates positivity and wholesomeness it’s a good dose of serotonin

Sorry if I got. aH TOO much but! To watch, the 1990 Moomin is found on essentially any cartoon website, and Youtube even has a bunch of episodes uploaded in English dub. To watch anything else, @happymoomin compiled a whole google drive file for anyone to watch essentially every movie and show (including the new Moominvalley) plus extra soundtracks, PDFs of the comics and books, and extras. But as of now, everyone is swarming into the drive to watch the 13 episodes of Moominvalley was just uploaded in English so. Good luck trying to watch I still haven’t been able to get my hands on them.
