What would be the happy thoughts les amis use to conjure their patronuses?
Enjolras: Uh. His is hard uh. Successes, I’d imagine. Gryffindor pride.
Bahorel: Primary school fight where he bit on the arm of the English equivalent of the fifth grader and sent him home crying home to his mother because he hit a girl. Some good fights and some moments with his family.
Musichetta: Times she blended in with the Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff tables to eat with Joly and Bousset.
Combeferre: Some cute little childhood memories and some times with Courfeyrac later on. Hanging out with Enjolras & Co.
Cosette: Growing up with Jean Valjean as her dad, stories about her mother. And moments she spends with Marius, as well as successful moments in her House.
Joly: He volunteers in the Hospital Wing, so when people leave happy he gets the warm fuzzies and tries to hold onto those.
Feuilly: When he taught himself to read, when he got into his House, the first Atlas that he ever received as a gift. Christmases.
Marius: Cosette. And history lessons. And history books. And meeting his friends.
Grantaire: Meeting his Hufflepuff friends, meeting Enjolras (despite their rocky footing). Even thinking about his Patronus makes him happy because he’s got a soft spot for his little platypus friend.
Bousset: Moments with Joly and Musichetta and moments they can sneak together when they’re older. Hanging out with his friends. When he sidesteps a ladder instead of stepping under it.
Jehan: Herbology tests, homelife, letters he’s gotten from his family, meeting Courfeyrac (though they don’t end up together), maybe meeting Bahorel (I can’t decide if I’m going to pair them).
Courfeyrac: Hanging with his friends, going home to his family, when he got his first rat, first time he ever stepped into Weasley’s Wizard Wheezes, getting Housed in Hufflepuff.
Montparnasse: I don’t know yet.
Eponine: Getting out of her parents’ house, living with Cosette instead, meeting Marius (even though they’re not together she gets happy feelings).
