Scott looked over at you, seeing how you were curled up in the passenger seat with your head laying against the window, arms wrapped around your knees. The two of you had met two years ago by chance in a coffee shop, talking for a bit before exchanging numbers. You’d called Scott that night, and you’d ended up chatting all night long.
After a week of nightly phone calls, both of you could tell that something special was forming. Scott invited you over to his place to have dinner, and you accepted without hesitation. You talked about your dreams and aspirations, your families and friends.
That was also the night that you both discovered that you happened to love the same beach; one that was only a three hour drive away. Before you knew it, both of you had planned a trip to the beach together, and it soon became a monthly thing.
Reaching over, he put a hand on your arm and whispered, “Go ahead and sleep; I’ll wake you up when we get there.”
Nodding your head, you closed your eyes and snuggled up a little bit more, leaving you to dream.

peter quill: what’s your favorite song from your childhood? back in black by ac/dc! it’s not from my era but ever since i was a kid my dad would play this one cd in the car all the time with that song on it. it brings back a lot of memories !!
