"Damned For All Time/Blood Money" is full of banger lyrics but "Jesus wouldn't mind if I was here with you" is exceptionally gut-punching not only because it's pitiful seeing Judas trying to justify his actions, but also because it's TRUE! Jesus would not mind!! Judas and Jesus are both so incredibly aware of the narrative that they're stuck in and they know they can't do anything to escape it!! Jesus literally yells at Judas later on to go and betray him already!! GOD!!! THIS MUSICAL!!!
