Slot Canyon at Buttes Pass at Anza Borrego Desert State Park was the very first Slot Canyon that I have ever seen, hiked, and photographed on March 13, 2023! Special thanks to @jameskaofoto for adding this to our itinerary after the Wildflowers Photo Shoot at Anza Borrego Desert State Park! This Canyon looked like a miniature Grand Canyon from the top, but as we hiked inside, the slots got thinner and it took more effort to carefully walk through the slots with our camera gear. In some parts, only one person at a time could hike through the slot! But what a fun adventure this was for us! This experience motivates me to want to try to hike and photograph other Slot Canyons in the future.
